Since 2014 World Divination has been a quiet, welcoming home for anyone who wants to learn the old card systems properly: Lenormand, Kipper, Tarot, Runes and more, taught by readers who have spent years with the cards and are happy to share what they know at a pace that suits you.

If you are new to the cards, or simply fancy a gentle refresher, these free and foundation courses will give you a sound footing in the traditional meanings before you go any further. Begin with Lenormand Level 1, free. Not sure where to begin? Browse all our Level 1 courses.
For readers who would like their skill properly recognised, each endorsement is a structured programme with an examination at the end, and it leads to a World Divination endorsement you can stand behind.
Kipper Card Endorsement: A thorough grounding in the Bavarian Kipper tradition, from the people cards to the Grand Tableau, for readers who want to read Kipper the way it has been read for generations.
Lenormand Endorsement: The traditional meanings, combinations and Grand Tableau techniques brought together in one careful course, so you can read Lenormand clearly and confidently for yourself and for clients.
Tarot Endorsement: A predictive, tableau-based approach to the Tarot that takes you beyond single-card meanings and into reading the whole spread as one story.
Rune Endorsement: The Elder Futhark studied stave by stave, with casting and layout methods, for readers who would like to add the runes to their practice with real understanding.
Once you are reading comfortably, these longer programmes are there to stretch you, with deeper study, live practice and plenty of room to explore.
Traditional Lenormand Meanings
I'm Toni Savory, though many of you will know me as The Card Geek. I founded World Divination in 2014, after many years spent learning the cards and looking for a place where the traditional methods could be taught with the patience and respect they deserve. My own study now runs to some forty years of research across England, France and Germany, much of it spent with generational readers who were kind enough to share their ways of working. Along the way I have written seven books, beginning with The Card Geek's Guide to Kipper, and it is still the greatest pleasure to watch a student's read suddenly start to make sense.
